Your aerobic training can take any form you enjoy. It might be walking , jogging, hiking, swimming, cycling , rowing as well as game activities like basketball, tennis, racket ball, volleyball, etc.
The important thing is to engage in activity that uses the large muscles. But you should also choose activities you enjoy and are suited to your level of fitness. You don't want to be gasping for your breath. If you are, then you have the chosen an activity that is too strenuous for you.
If you work at too high a level, you will tire of the activity and give it up.You are more likely to injure yourself if the program is too hard. Remember to take it easy at first and gradually build up as your fitness level improves. The experts say moderate intensity exercise like walking is best for most adults.
Sometimes our plans may be on the right track, but they need the right direction.
