Yogurt: Cold Medicine?

Researchers have found that persons who eat live-culture yogurt have 25 percent fewer cold and high fever symptoms than those who don't eat yogurt. Why is that? Scientist think it may be that yogurt boosts the immune system by stimulating production of gamma interferon.

Yogurt is also a good, low-fat source of calcium, and that helps prevent osteoporosis in women. I you want a healthy frame, be sure you get enough calcium in your diet.

Do you see how small amounts of certain nutrients affect our bodies in different ways? That's why it is dangerous to go on a starvation diet or one that only lets you eat a few selected food items. The Lord will meet all your nutritional needs if you allow Him to guide you as He has promise to do.
